Elements of Art and Principles of Design
Line: the lines in this metal door represent the line element.
Value: the scale of blues and greens in these samples represent value
Texture: you can see the rocky and bumpy texture of this countertop through this photo
Color: these colored pencils show a variety of different contrasting colors
Space: the lack of people or objects in this hallway demonstrate the space within it.
Form: this picture shows form because when I looked at this cloud to me it looked like a hand pointing at something and so I thought it was a good representation of a form
Shape: this wolf in the tiles represent shape because it is a 2D figure
Contrast: this photo shows contrast because the mountains are very dark and its almost a clear line separating them from the orange and blue sky
Movement: this photo shows movement because the basketball is clearly moving and that is shown through the blur of the ball.
Rhythm: these floor tiles show rhythm because they all are related to each other and essentially serving the same purpose, however they are not perfectly placed in a pattern-like way
Emphasis: this shows emphasis because the area surrounding the fire alarm is completely blank and bare and white, creating almost a canvas for the fire alarm
Pattern: these tiles show pattern because the shapes and colors are reoccurring in the same way as they were before, over and over again.
Unity: this shows unity because each poster is representing the same thing, equality, and standing together.
Balance: this structure shows balance because it is essentially the balance beams holding the school up
